Plans Renew Automatically, but Premiums May Increase
Happy with your plan? You may not need to do anything.

Private Plans
If you currently have a Silver plan and are not receiving a federal subsidy, a Private Plan may be worth considering.
Private Plans are Individual and Family Plans purchased directly from an insurance carrier through Via Benefits. Private plans offer the same consumer protections as Marketplace plans, such as guaranteed issue, enrollment period rules, and no medical underwriting. While they generally provide the same essential health benefits required under the Affordable Care Act, provider networks, prescription coverage, deductibles, and other plan features may differ. In some areas, Private Silver Plans may offer lower premiums than comparable Marketplace Silver Plans.
It’s important to note that these plans are not eligible for federal subsidies—but if you are eligible and have opted into a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), this shouldn’t be a concern.
Private Plans are not available everywhere, but they are offered in many states. Call Via Benefits today to learn whether a Private Plan may be a good fit for your needs and budget.
