Plans Renew Automatically, but Premiums May Increase
Happy with your plan? You may not need to do anything.
If your plan still fits your needs, you may not need to call us or take any action. In most cases, your plan will renew automatically.
If there are changes to your Medicare Advantage or Part D Prescription Drug plan, your insurance carrier will send you an Annual Notice of Change (ANOC). This notice explains important updates, including changes to your:
Premiums, including any increases
Prescription drug coverage, including how your medications are covered and paid for
Benefits and what's included in your plan
Coverage rules, including any updates to how your plan works
Plan status, such as whether you'll be automatically enrolled in another plan
If your current Medicare Advantage or Part D Prescription Drug plan will not be offered in 2027, your insurance carrier will send you a notice.
If you receive a notice about plan changes, sign in to Via Benefits on or after October 15. Your Coverage Checkup will help you compare your current plan with the new 2027 plan options. Please note: If you have a Medicare Supplemental Policy (Medigap), your carrier may notify you of plan changes at any time during the year. You can also change your plan at any time during the year, but you may be subject to underwriting.
